Room-by-room design
Speaker count, size and placement chosen for each space, including kitchens, baths and bedrooms.
Architectural speakers through the house, run from one app. Yosemite Tech designs, installs and tunes multi-room audio on Sonos, Sonance and other major platforms.
Good whole-home audio starts with the room, not the speaker. Ceiling height, furniture, where people sit and how loud the room needs to get decide how many speakers go in and where.
We plan speaker locations with your designer or builder, run the wire during rough-in where possible, and centralize the amplification in a rack. The result is even sound in every room, controlled from the app you already use.
Every project is scoped to the property. These are the pieces we usually cover.

Levels and EQ set per room, plus a walkthrough of how to use the system.
Clear scope, clean install, documented handover.
A conversation and a site visit. How the property is used, what exists and what the schedule looks like.
A written proposal with equipment, locations and pricing, coordinated with your builder and trades.
Rough-in, mounting, programming and testing, done cleanly and documented.
A walkthrough, documentation and ongoing support after the job is done.
A system that plays music in multiple rooms from one source and one app, with each room controlled separately or grouped together. Speakers are usually built into ceilings or walls.
Yes. Retrofit installs use existing attic and crawlspace access to run wire. Some rooms are easier than others, and we will tell you which after a site visit.
No, but Sonos is popular because the app is simple and works with most streaming services. Larger systems often use Sonos for streaming with separate amplification for the speakers.
It depends on the size and shape. Small rooms often need one pair; open kitchens and great rooms usually need more so the sound stays even.
