Lighting scenes
Groups of lights set to the right level for each part of the day.
Scenes, keypads and schedules that replace banks of switches. Yosemite Tech installs and programs lighting control and motorized shades on Lutron, Crestron and Somfy.
A large home can have dozens of switches on a single wall. Lighting control replaces them with a few clearly labeled keypads and scenes like Morning, Dinner, Away and Goodnight.
Motorized shades handle glare, privacy and heat on a schedule or with one button. Both work best when planned with the electrician and designer before walls close, and both can be added to existing homes with wireless systems.
Every project is scoped to the property. These are the pieces we usually cover.

Clear scope, clean install, documented handover.
A conversation and a site visit. How the property is used, what exists and what the schedule looks like.
A written proposal with equipment, locations and pricing, coordinated with your builder and trades.
Rough-in, mounting, programming and testing, done cleanly and documented.
A walkthrough, documentation and ongoing support after the job is done.
A system that controls lights through keypads, an app and schedules instead of individual switches. Lights are grouped into scenes so one button sets a whole room.
Yes. Wireless systems replace existing switches and dimmers without opening walls in most cases.
Some shades are hardwired and some run on batteries. Hardwired is best in new construction; battery shades suit retrofits.
Yes. Scenes can lower shades and set lights at the same time, and both can follow a schedule.
