What does Yosemite Tech do?
Yosemite Tech designs, installs and supports the technology in homes and properties: networks and WiFi, indoor and outdoor audio, video and media rooms, and control. One team plans the system, installs it, hands it over and stays on to support it.
What brands does Yosemite Tech work with?
All the major home technology brands. Control and automation: Crestron, Control4, Savant, Josh.ai and URC. Lighting and shades: Lutron, Crestron and Somfy. Audio: Sonos, Sonance, Origin Acoustics, Bowers & Wilkins, Coastal Source and Triad. Video: Sony, Samsung, LG, Epson, Seura and Screen Innovations. Networking: Ubiquiti UniFi, Araknis, Ruckus, Access Networks, Cisco Meraki and Pakedge. Power and racks: WattBox, Middle Atlantic and Panamax. Equipment is chosen per project, not per brand.
Do you work on Crestron, Control4 and Savant systems?
Yes. We design, install and support control systems on Crestron, Control4 and Savant, along with voice control through Josh.ai. The right platform depends on the size of the property, the budget and how the household wants to use it, and we will recommend one rather than default to a single brand.
Do you install Sonos and Sonance?
Yes. Sonos and Sonance are two of the most common audio platforms we install, from multi-room Sonos systems to Sonance architectural and landscape speakers with in-ground subwoofers for outdoor spaces.
Which WiFi and network brands do you install?
Ubiquiti UniFi, Araknis, Ruckus, Access Networks, Cisco Meraki and Pakedge, chosen for the size of the property and how it will be managed. Racks are built with Middle Atlantic and power protection from WattBox or Panamax.
Do you install Lutron lighting control and shades?
Yes. We install and program Lutron lighting control and motorized shades, and integrate them with whole-home control from Crestron, Control4 or Savant.
Where does Yosemite Tech work?
We are based in Portland, Oregon and work across the West Coast: Seattle and Western Washington, Portland and Oregon, and Northern California including the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley and Sonoma County.
Can you get reliable WiFi across a large property?
Yes. Large homes and multi-building properties need a planned network: a proper rack, wired backhaul, access points placed by survey rather than guesswork, and outdoor coverage where people actually spend time. We design the network to the property and manage it after install.
Do you install outdoor and landscape audio?
Yes. Outdoor audio is designed around the space: landscape satellites and in-ground subwoofers for lawns and gardens, weather-rated speakers for patios and decks, with direct burial cable and amplification sized for the runs. The goal is even sound across the area without blasting the neighbors.
Do you work with builders, architects and designers?
Yes. We work alongside general contractors, electricians, architects and interior designers on new builds and remodels, coordinating rough-in, equipment locations and finishes so the technology fits the design.
Can you take over a system someone else installed?
Yes. Many projects start with an existing system that is undocumented or no longer supported. We audit what is there, document it, fix what is broken and recommend what is worth keeping.
How do I start a project?
Email info@yosemite-tech.com or call (805) 952-3364 with the location, the rough scope and your timeline. The next step is a conversation and, where it makes sense, a site visit.
